We officially kicked off the season with a overnight trip out to Hood Canal. I actually really like this transition from summer to fall. The air is becoming cold and crisp, and there is much less sunshine, but there is something nice about it. We built a little bonfire by the shore and watched the birds. We played lots of monopoly and ate candy too.

You all look like you were relaxing and enjoying the splendor of witnessing fall take center stage. I think it was in mid October when I saw two killer wales working their way slowly past the house about at the floating dock only directly in front. I should call Alderbrook and try and find out when they are do back.
